With the BJP-led NDA set to get a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha polls 2019 leading in over 339 seats out of 542 seats at 4.35 pm, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal stated that ‘it’s vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’.

Reacting to the trend of Lok Sabha poll results on Thursday in which BJP is surging ahead all other opposition parties including Congress, Sonowal on his Twitter handle stated: “It’s a Vote for PM Narendra Modi.”

Reiterating that the trend of victory has become possible only due to ‘Modi wave’, Sonowal tweeted: “It’s unprecedented. Never before in our electoral history, a wave in favour of a great leader decided national and state elections the way #ModiWave has done for @BJP4India.”

The Assam CM has also congratulated party’s national president Amit Shah for the trend of victory.

Sonowal tweeted: “I congratulate Shri @AmitShah ji for this great victory.”

For the victory trend in Assam, Sonowal has congratulated the people of the state for their support towards the leadership of Modi.

He has also congratulated all the BJP workers.

He tweeted: “Congratulations to all @BJP4India karyakartas. This vote is the result of your hard work & dedication.”
