Counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections, 2019 started at 8 am today.
The counting for the Lok Sabha polls are being held across 51 counting centres in Assam under tight security.

Lok Sabha polls were held in Assam in three phases – on Apil 11, April 18 and April 23 and the State recorded by and large peace polling where 81.52 per cent of the people cast their vote.
A total of 145 candidates are in fray this time for the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
