Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday held a meeting with officials of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) to discuss the Covid situation in the state.
Despite the government adopting the five fold strategy of’ testing, tracking, treating, vaccinating and following Covid appropriate behaviour’, there has not been major decline in the number of positive cases.
In fact 286 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases to 35,857.

The disease claimed four more lives, taking the death toll to 172.
Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh government also received an additional 37,840 doses of the Covishield vaccine from the centre on Wednesday.
