Bollywood actor and right-wing activist Kangana Ranaut tried to glorify Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi on Martyrs Day on Saturday (January 30).
Taking to the Twitter, Kangana Ranaut posted pictures of Nathuram Godse saying, “Every story has three sides to it, yours, mine and the truth …. A good story teller neither commits nor conceals… and that’s why our text books suck … full of exposition #NathuramGodse”.
However, this tweet of Kangana Ranaut glorifying Nathuram Godse that too on Martyrs’ Day did not go down well with many social media users, with many slamming the Bollywood actor.

I m actually waiting for the Sangh’s new narrative of Gandhi’s assassination by their Godse.
A film where #Gandhi willfully took the gun from Godse’s hands and killed himself, just to blame the “innocent” #Godse
And none other than @KanganaTeam will be playing Ganghi

This is not the first time that Kangana Ranaut has openly criticised Mahatma Gandhi.
In October last year, Kangana Ranaut had criticised Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 145th birth anniversary.
