Retired Indian Army personnel Mohammad Sanaullah failed to make it to the final NRC list.
Names of his two daughters and son are also missing from the list while his wife passed the citizenship test.
Sanaullah, earlier this year, was declared a foreigner by a Foreigners’ Tribunal (FT) and was sent to a detention camp.
He had appealed against the FT’s order and the case is still pending at the High Court.
