Manipur Tripura to release over 10,000 job offers after panchayat polls

Agartala: The Tripura Government has announced plans to release over 10,000 job opportunities following the completion of the Panchayat elections.

This decision was made by Tripura’s Chief Minister, Manik Saha.

An official from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) stated, “Since assuming office, Chief Minister Saha has spearheaded numerous initiatives and conducted a series of meetings focused on increasing job availability.”

Under Group A in 2018-19 around 99 people got job offers, in 2019-20, four people, in 2020-21 around 40, in 2021-22 the number is 223, 147 people received jobs in 2022-23 and 2023-24 the number is 28.

Under Group B in 2018-19 around 1 person got job offers, in 2019-20, three people, in 2020-21 around 4, in 2021-22 the number is 16, 77 people received jobs in 2022-23 and in 2023-24 the number is 7.

Under Group C in 2018-19 around 986 people got job offers, in 2019-20, 965 people, in 2020-21 around 629, in 2021-22 the number is 2699, 5044 people received jobs in 2022-23 and in 2023-24 the number is 1966.

Under Group D in 2018-19 around 100 people got job offers, in 2019-20, 174 people, in 2020-21 around 121, in 2021-22 the number is 134 while 116 people received jobs in 2022-23 and in 2023-24 the number is 78.

“Chief Minister Saha, dedicated to the state’s progress and youth employment, has instructed officials to expedite the release of pending job offers. There are pending offers from Tripura Police, Group D under the Joint Recruitment Board Tripura, Special Executives, and others. We have received instructions from Chief Minister Dr. Saha to release these offers soon after the Panchayat Elections. Over 10,000 offers will be released shortly,” said an official from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
