Of the three national highways that connect Manipur to neighboring states, only NH-37—linking Imphal to Silchar in Assam via Jiribam has resumed limited vehicle movement. Debris was cleared from this route by Tuesday, allowing essential traffic to resume. Meanwhile, NH-102, which connects Imphal to Dimapur via Kohima in Nagaland, remains in poor condition, also impacted by landslides.

Amid the chaos, Manipur police reported that 111 vehicles transporting essential supplies were able to travel along NH-37 under heavy security. Security convoys have been deployed across vulnerable and sensitive stretches of the highway to ensure the safe movement of these vehicles.
