The Centre on Friday announced that Indo-Bangladesh passenger trains and buses will remain suspended till April 15 in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
Apart from that only four Indo-Nepal border check-posts will remain operational until further notice.
The union home ministry further informed that the number coronavirus positive cases in India have climbed to 81.
The ministry further informed that the government has decided to inspect international traffic through land immigration check-posts and the government has already set up 37 such check-posts.
It was also informed that for citizens of Bhutan and Nepal, visa-free entry to India will continue.
It was further informed that the government has decided to allow human traffic in Mankachhar in Assam, Raxaul (Indo-Nepal border), Mizoram, Indo-Myanmar border, Agartala (Indo-Bangladesh), Banbasa (Uttarakhand, Indo-Nepal) and Chadarbandha (West Bengal, Indo-Bangladesh border).
