Dhaijya Konwar, general secretary of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) will finally be out of jail on Saturday after the NIA court in Guwahati granted him bail.

Konwar has been granted bail against the case number 13/19, which was registered against him by the NIA in December 2019.

The NIA court has fixed a bail amount of Rs 30,000.

Meanwhile, president of Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) Bitu Sonowal has also been granted bail by the NIA court on July 15.

Both Konwar and Sonowal would walk free out of jail on Saturday once their COVID-19 test results come negative.
