According to the organisers, GAFF 2026 has curated its programme from over 200 film submissions, including 90 entries from outside India. Films from Vietnam, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Myanmar, Iran, Kazakhstan and China will be screened during the festival.

Alongside international selections, the festival will present films from across India in multiple languages, including Marathi, Bajjika, Malayalam, Hindi, Tulu, Nepali, Assamese, Karbi, Bodo, Mishing, Manipuri and Bengali, reflecting the linguistic diversity of the country.

In addition to screenings, the festival will host masterclasses, panel discussions and interactive sessions featuring filmmakers, critics and industry professionals from India and other Asian countries.
