The Assam unit of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) has dissolved all its State and district committees.
The decision was announced by Assam NSUI President, Krishnanu Baruah.

The decision of dissolving the State and district committees of the NSUI was approved by Assam NSUI in-charge Anushesh Sharma.
“With the approval of Assam State NSUI I/C Anushesh Sharma, I dissolve all the State and district committees of Assam NSUI,” said Krishnanu Baruah.
However, Krishnanu Baruah further informed that the new appointments to the State and district committees will be announced soon.

“List of new appointments will soon be published on the basis of work performance,” said Assam NSUI President, Krishnanu Baruah.

Notably, this decision of dissolving all the State and district committees of the NSUI in Assam comes barely two days after the All India Congress Committee (AICC) appointed Krishnanu Baruah as the President of the Assam NSUI.
The NSUI is the students’ wing of the Indian National Congress (INC).
