After the rescue of two minor boys and arresting a 63-year-old Australian on Tuesday, the Nepal police has intensified its search operations against probable paedophiles in the hiding.
The paragliding pilot was arrested was caught “red-handed” with two minor boys from his rented house in Pokhara.
“He has been living here so we need to investigate if there are other victims or if he is connected with a network of paedophiles,” police said.
And since his arrest, the police has intensified its operations against the paedophiles.
Nepal’s weak law enforcement against paedophile has made the country notorious for sexual predators.
Several arrests have already been made this year.
“In most cases, the victims are from a weak financial background and they are easily lured by the criminals,” police said.
Gifts, good food, good education, a better life etc, are the ways that these sexual predators offer innocent victims.
Police are hopeful that soon they would be able to nab a few more paedophiles who are presently under the wraps.
