The National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Saturday launched the ‘Naukri Do Ya Degree Wapas Lo’ (Give employment or take back degrees) campaign in protest against the central government’s failure to provide jobs o unemployed youths in the country.
NSUI national president Neeraj Kundan launched the campaign at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, a report stated.
Kundan said, “We want to portray the real picture of unemployment before the central government through our campaign.”
“The BJP led government has no interest of solving the unemployment problem in the country and it also hides the actual data regarding the total unemployed youths in India,” Kundan said.
NSUI also plans to also collect five lakhs of degrees of unemployed youths and present them as evidence before the central government as part of the campaign.
NSUI General Secretary Nagesh Kariyappa said there is a lack of adequate jobs in the organized sector for youths.
