An earthquake, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, jolted Mizoram on Sunday morning.
The earthquake occurred at 7:28 am on Sunday.
This has been confirmed by the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
According to NCS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 45 Km near Champhai in Mizoram.
“Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.6, occurred on 20-09-2020, 07:29:06 IST, Lat: 23.00 & Long: 93.65, Depth: 45 Km, Location: 60 km SSE of Champhai, Mizoram, India,” the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) tweeted.

Till the filing of this report, no damage has been reported.
On Saturday, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Assam.
The earthquake, that occurred at 8: 18 pm on Saturday, had its epicentre in Bongaigaon, Assam.
