Indians can travel to 58 countries without visa formalities in 2020

Vacation-loving Indians can now travel to 58 countries without much worry about visa formalities.

The Indian passport is now strong enough to enjoy hassle-free international travels. And many countries now grant visa-free entry to Indians.

According to the Henley Passport Index 2020, the Indian passport now ranks 84 in the list of world’s most powerful passports.

Japan tops the list of world’s most powerful passport, which gives Japanese citizens visa-free entry to 191 countries.

Similarly, passports of Singapore, Germany and South Korea are also strong enough to grant visa-free entries into about 150 countries in the world.

India tops the list in South Asia, and Indians can get entries to 58 countries in the world without much worry.

Indian passport holders can also get a free 15-day online visa to Malaysia and United Arab Emirates.

But for most countries, Indians should ensure their passport is valid for at least 6 months from the time of travel.

And in countries where visa-on-arrival is mandatory for Indians, they should carry passport-sized photographs and confirmed return tickets.

But in some countries, Indians will need to pay a entry fee and a fill up an application form.

Moreover, travellers may also be asked to produce travel health insurance, proof of accommodation and proof of sufficient funds.
