Tripura on Wednesday witnessed two different pictures of ‘Bharat bandh‘.
While former chief minister Manik Sarkar in support of ‘Bharat bandh’ did not use his government vehicle, at the same time MP Pratima Bhowmik did marketing from the road side shops to oppose the ‘bandh’.
Amidst the ongoing strike in the State, where transport system, bank services are paralyzed, Manik Sarkar had chosen to pillion ride on a motorcycle like any other common man in the city.
On Wednesday morning the former chief minister and Communist stalwart left from his residence on foot for the CPI-M state office.

And from there he went to Dhaleswar CPI-M office by a bike.
Around noon on Wednesday, BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik came to the roads with her supporters and party workers.
She did shopping from the roadside shops to oppose the ‘Bharat bandh.’
Pratima Bhowmik insisted the shop keepers to open the market and shops and oppose the strike.
She purchased snacks and foods from the roadside shops and then distributed thoses among the party workers.
These two pictures are very uncommon in state politics.
