Assam’s Halicharan Narzary and Vinit Rai and Mizoram’s Jerry Lalrinzuala and Lallianzuala Chhangte have been named among 35 probables of India’s World Cup qualifiers against Oman, and Asian Champion Qatar.
The list of the probables was shared by Indian senior national team coach Igor Stimac.
The 35 players assemble at the camp on August 19 in Goa and practice will start from the next day.
India’s campaign for the FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin on September 5 when it takes on Oman.
India’s second match will be against Asian Champion on September 10.
The match against Oman will be played in Guwahati and the team will then travel to Doha for the match against Qatar.
Apart from India, Oman, and Qatar, the other teams in the group are Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
