The US Ambassador to India, Kenneth I. Juster on Sunday visited the Kohima War Cemetery on Sunday.
During his visit to the Kohima War Cemetery, US Ambassador Kenneth paid homage to the Indian and British soldiers who sacrificed their lives while fighting in the famous Battle of Kohima in 1944, generally regarded as the bitterest battle of the Burma campaign.

While uploading a few images of US Ambassador Kenneth visiting the war cemetery, WeTheNagas on its Twitter handle on Sunday stated: “US Ambassador to India, Kenneth I. It may be mentioned that US Ambassador to India Kenneth arrived in Kohima recently to attend the Hornbill Festival 2018. He attended the inaugural function of the festival as as the guest of honour.
Kenneth also visited YouthNet’s ‘Made in Nagaland’ Centre in Kohima on Saturday.
He was greatly impressed by the Centre and the various products by local entrepreneurs, which are on display.
The US Ambassador arrived in Nagaland on Friday.
Kenneth I. Juster was given a warm welcome by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
