Congress has registered a case against three youth leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday night at West Agartala Police station.
The case was registered against the three youth leaders after they staged a protest demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi.
The youth leaders also burnt the effigy of the former Congress president.
“The Congress members came out and blocked the road after the Bharatiya Janata Yuba Morcha (BJYM)’s protest,” police said.
“The Congress also gheraoed the police station and demanded the arrest of the BJYM leaders,” police added.
Congress leader Gopal Roy said the complaint was lodged against Tinku Roy, Vikky Prasad and Joynal Das.
He further added that the three leaders attacked and ransacked the Congress Bhawan.
