Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb has said that Union home minister Amit Shah has a plan to form government in Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Deb said this while addressing a party meeting at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala on Saturday.

Soon the chief minister’s statement went viral on social media.

Deb said it was only under the leadership of Amit Shah that the BJP became the world’s largest party.

“The communist party had claimed that their party was the largest in the world, but Amit Shah made BJP the largest party in the world,” said Deb.

“During a meeting at the state guest house when the then North-East zonal secretary of BJP, Ajay Jamwal said that BJP had formed governments in several Indian states, in reply Shah said that the party has to extend its base in Sri Lanka and Nepal and form governments in these two countries,” Deb said.
