Deputy Speaker Biswabandhu Sen, Women Commission Chairperson Barmali chakraborty and others were present in the program held at Dharmanagar Sardo Soto Barshiki Bhawan.

As a part of the program, a cultural event was held followed by a discussion.

The Members remembered Dr. Mukherjee as a martyr who sacrificed his life for keeping Kashmir in the Indian union. BJP leaders highlighted that had Dr. Mukherjee not been there, the entire West Bengal, north east and Punjab would have gone to Pakistan.
