SpiceJet, the fourth largest airline of India will introduce daily flights from Kolkata airport to Lilabari airport in Assam’s Lakhimpur district under the regional connectivity scheme from January 15, 2019.

The flight from Kolkata will take off at 10.40 am and reach Lilabari airport at 12.35 pm.The flight from Lilabari will take off at 1.05 pm and reach Kolkata t 3.05 pm.

Spice Jet will operate the Bombardier Q400 aircraft for the flight route, TOI reported.

Spice Jet announced introductory promotional airfare starting at Rs 3700 on the flight between Kolkata and Lilabari.

Spice Jet Chief Sales and Revenue Officer Shilpa Bhatia said that the airline is proud to introduce the picturesque destination of Lilabari on its domestic network.

“SpiceJet is proud to add the picturesque destination of Lilabari on its domestic network. We have always remained steadfast in enhancing connectivity to the north-eastern region which owing to its difficult topography has always suffered from connectivity limitations. We are confident that both flights will provide impetus to tourism,” she said.
