North-East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) Chairman Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived in Tripura at the refugee camp ahead of Mizoram Assembly election’s.
Addressing the campaign at Gochirampara under Panisagar sub division in Bisnupur Dr Sharma stated that once BJP comes to power in Mizoram the party will definitely ensure solution to the problems of the Bru refugees.
Repartition will be done in fulfleged manner. BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik also remained present in the campaign. Out of total refugees, over 11,000 inmates of relief camps are voters of Mizoram as they belong to the neighbouring state.
Dr Sharma further stressed only BJP can give them their identify. The Bru leaders will be called at Assam on 20 November to decide where the refugees will cast their vote.
In charge Jadavlal Nath took over the preparation of the campaign. However it is to be mentioned here that only 500 refugees were seen in the camp.
