Meghalaya continues to record more Covid-19 cases with 457 people testing positive for the virus on Tuesday.
The disease claimed nine more lives in the state, taking the death toll to 880.
The total number of positive cases has reached 52,358, of which 4305 are active cases.

A total of 47,173 people have recovered from the virus so far.
The Centre has said that positive cases in the northeastern states are declining except in Meghalaya.
A sudden surge in cases was recorded after Covid-19 infections broke out in a jail at Ri-Bhoi district recently.
