Covid-19 claimed three more lives in Meghalaya on Monday, taking the state’s death toll to 827.
On the other hand, 336 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours in the state.
The total number of positive cases has reached 48,783, of which 4,378 are active cases.

A total of 43,578 people have recovered from the infection so far in the state.
Meanwhile, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma has directed all MLAs and MCDs to get involved in the ongoing Covid-19 vaccination drive in the state.
They have been asked to take concrete steps to achieve the target of vaccination in their respective districts.
