Manipur reported 66 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
With this, the total number of positive cases has reached 28,484 in the state.
The disease has so far claimed 363 lives in the state.
While 27,642 people have recovered from the disease, the state has 479 active cases.
However, the Manipur health department has opened the out-patients departments of the JNIMS and RIMS hospitals with the recovery rate increasing to 97.16 per cent in the state.

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh had said that the four people who have returned from the UK to the state has tested negative for the new mutant strain of Covid-19.
Their samples had been sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune to detect if they had been infected by the new strain.
The state health department will conduct the dry-run for the Covid-19 vaccines in all districts except Thoubal and Imphal West districts on January 8.
