Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Tamulpur area in Baksa district for uploading obscene pictures of his ‘ex-girlfriend’ on a social networking site.
A case was registered in Patacharkuchi police station on July 13 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the woman and the man, who hails from Nagaon, was arrested on Saturday.

“When I got to know that she had already married and had an affair with a guy, I immediately snapped my ties with her. She used to send obscene photos to me and lied that she was unmarried,” arrested Nipon told Northeast Now.
Police have seized the mobile phone of the arrested youth. The accused was taken in police custody from Tamulpur on Saturday and was produced in court in Pathsala. He has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
