Former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) studentsโ union president Kanhaiya Kumar on Saturday faced protest from the members of a right-wing group as he arrived here to speak at an event.
Kumar was in Guwahati as the special guest at an event organised by a digital media group at cityโs Don Bosco School in Panbazaar.

Activists from right-wing organisation-Bajrang Dalโ tried to storm the auditorium and disrupt Kanhaiya Kumarโs lecture.
Holding placards in hands, they also shouted slogans like- โKanhaiya Kumar murdabadโ, โKanhaiya Kumar Go Backโ, โKanhaiya Kumar deshdrohiโโagainst the former JNU student union leader.
Speaking at the lecture, Kumar attacked the Narendra Modi government, saying BJP government is working at the interest of the corporate groups.
