The prestigious ICAI Award 2017 has been conferred on CA Angshuman Gogoi, Assistant Manager of Assam Oil Division (AOD), Finance Department, Digboi at the 11th ICAI Awards 2017 function held in Mumbai recently.
CA Gogoi received the award in the category of CA Corporate Contributor – Public Sector.
The Institute of Charter Accountant of India (ICAI) Awards 2017 function, which was organised at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai, was marked by the presence of Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu.
CA Gogoi was presented with the award by CA Nilesh Shivji Vikamsey, president, ICAI and CA Naveen ND Gupta, vice president, ICAI.
Gogoi, the recipient of the award, has been a vibrant and performance-driven Chartered Accountant with over 7 years of experience and proven track record as a qualified fellow Chartered Accountant and IS Auditor (DISA), sources said.
He strives to remain a contributor to the organisational growth working in the areas of Finance and Taxation.
Sources added, Gogoi was one of the energetic and farsighted DPS’ accounts audit team member assigned to by the AOD management in the month of April 2017, who subsequently was able to underline a huge financial anomalies in tune of around Rs 41 lakh by DPS School besides contributing his best in various other financial aspects and stability of the Corporation.
It may be added that these awards recognise Chartered Accountants, who have exhibited exceptional performance in business segments by driving key strategies for creation of wealth for stakeholder. ICAI awards showcase personal achievements in shaping innovative business practices, quality & transparent corporate governance and consistent track record of improved financial performance of the organization.
