Good news for the dog owners in Guwahati who want that their pet dogs should get a chance to take part in a show in the city.
The Small Animal Practitioners Association (SAPA) is all set to organize an all-breed dog show in Guwahati on January 20, 2019.

The dog show, to be held at the Livestock Campus Playground in Farmgate, Khanapara, will start at 9 in the morning and conclude at 1 pm.
As per a promo of the event, any local Indian/pedigreed dogs with general good health condition and up-to-date vaccination can participate in the dog show.
The organizers have urged the dog owners to contact their respective veterinarians to get their pet dogs registered for the show.

It may be mentioned that last year, the Small Animal Practitioners Association (SAPA) organised a dog show on January 7.
The event took place at the Veterinary College Ground, Khanapara in Guwahati from 9 am to 2 pm.
As per media reports, over 220 dogs belonging to 24 different breeds participated in the dog show, which is stated to be the biggest dog show organised in the Northeast.
The main objective of the dog show was to promote the adoption of local breeds amongst dog lovers of Guwahati.
Last year’s dog show organized in the city by SAPA, along with dogs from different parts of Guwahati, several dogs from other parts of the State like Nagaon, Tezpur and Joklabanda participated in the show.
