 The Tata Institute of Social Sciences Guwahati is set to organize its annual cultural and literary fest Vamolan 2018.

The fest will kick off from 15 and will go on till  February 18. The annual event will be held in the university premises and will feature various activities open to students from across India.

A wide array of competitions such as doodle art, debate, poetry slam, face painting, essay, short story writing, film-making, quiz and mock press conferences will be held for the entertainment of the youth, informed an institute official.

Social entrepreneurs such as Roy RiddhiniL, CEO and founder of Ne8x, a startup aimed at accelerating startup ventures in the Northeast region and Akash Das founder of social café Pay from Heart, a gift economy based café, will also deliver talks on importance of social entrepreneurship in the event.

The event is held every year to encourage students to explore their creative self better and have a unique opportunity to explore diverse ideas and input put forward by budding creative minds from all over the country.
