Former union minister of state for Home, Kiren Rijiju, who was once again inducted into the Narendra Modi Cabinet 2.0 as minister of state has showered all praises on Himanta Biswa Sarma for his victory.

Rijiju took to twiiter to express his gratitude to Assam finance minister and convenor of North Eastern Democratic Alliance (NEDA) for his massive win from his home state Arunachal Pradesh with a record margin of votes in the Lok Sabha elections this year.

The former union minister of state for Home also hugely acknowledged the contribution of Himanta Biswa Sarma in the commendable performance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the entire Northeast.

Rijiju in his official Twitter handle wrote:

‘Thank you very much @himantabiswa da. Your valuable contribution for my victory and for the growth of BJP in North East India is defining. I’m looking forward to work closely with you to make North-East prosperous under the guidance of @narendramodi ji.’

Earlier on Wednesday, Himanta was also prompt to congratulate Rijiju on being choosen as part of Narendra Modi’s government for the second time.

Himanta on his official Twitter handle wrote:

‘I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Sri @KirenRijiju for being part of #ModiSarkar2.

I am confident that you will continue to do great work for building of a vibrant and prosperous India.’
