President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday met students and teachers from Baksa and Barpeta districts of Assam at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
According to information, a group of students and teachers from Baksa and Barpeta districts of Assam called on President Kovind and had interactions with him as part of a National Integration Tour.
The National Integration Tour for the students of the two Assam districts has been organised by the Eastern Command of the Indian Army.
Informing about the meeting, the President’s Secretariat, which runs the official Twitter account of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, tweeted on Tuesday: “President Kovind meets students and teachers from Baksa and Barpeta districts of Assam, who are on a National Integration Tour organised by Eastern Command of the Indian Army, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”
