The samples of 28 persons from Dibrugarh, which were collected on Wednesday, tested negative for coronavirus. The test reports were out on Thursday.
The 28 persons had visited New Delhi recently to take part in a religious congregation in Nizamuddin.
“We have found all the 28 samples to be negative. We have collected the samples on Wednesday and tested for COVID-19,” said a health department official.

“We have 3600 people under home quarantine in Dibrugarh district,” said the nodal officer of Dibrugarh joint director of health services Nabajyoti Gogoi
“They have arrived from other states by air and rail. Some of them have returned from states where there have been COVID-19 cases. Their health is being monitored daily,” he added.
