Assam’s Rodali Barua on Thursday won Gold medal representing the Indian Kyorugi team at the ongoing 13 South Asian Games in Nepal.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal congratulated the young athlete and sent best wishes to her.

“Congratulations to Rodali Barua for winning gold by representing the Indian Kyorugi team at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games in Nepal. This is a moment of great pride for Assam and the nation. My best wishes,” Sonowal tweeted.

 

Rodali Barua in June this year won gold at the second India Open International Taekwondo Championship currently underway in Hyderabad.

The athlete shot to fame after bagging a medal at the National Games.
