To encourage the practice of yoga among the people of Dibrugarh for living a healthy life, a yoga centre – Sudham – was inaugurated in Upper Assam’s Dibrugarh on Sunday.

Dipa Dasgupta, a yoga teacher of Dibrugarh, has come up with the yoga centre.

Speaking on the occasion, Pranab Kumar Nath, a yoga expert said, “It’s a noble initiative taken by Dipa Dasgupta to encourage the people to do yoga.”

“Everyone should do yoga to live a healthy life. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been giving stress on doing yoga on regular basis to stay healthy. Yoga is an ancient practice which can give you a way of healthy life.”

He further said, “Yoga should be practiced under proper guidance. During the Covid19 pandemic, yoga remains the only way to boost immunity. Everyone should practice yoga to stay fit and healthy.”
