Mokhalles Mehdi

Mokhalles Mehdi, a research scholar in the department of business administration of the Tezpur University in Assam has bagged the 2020-2021 New Best Seller Award by Ivey Publishing, Ivey Business School at Western University, Canada.

Mehdi is a resident of Mariani in the Jorhat district and is currently pursuing his Ph.D course at the Tezpur University.

He received the award for a case study titled “IKEA India: Expanding to Success.”

Mehdi had worked on three case studies and the book sold approximately 8000 copies globally across top business management institutes and universities.

According to the Ivey Publishing, “Following the end of each academic year, we recognize the important work of authors and celebrate the contributions they have made to case teaching and writing.”

Mehdi said that he was ranked in the sixth position, the ranking based on unit sales.

The New Best Sellers list highlights the top 20 cases from the previous academic year (May 1, 2020 – April 30, 2021) that have continuously engaged students and provided opportunities for instructors to deliver key concepts at leading business schools around the world.
