The protesting female teachers alleged that the principal treated them with gender-insensitive remarks and made inappropriate gestures.
They also accused the principal-in-charge of cutting their monthly salaries.

The students and teachers are observing a pen-down protest since Thursday demanding the removal of the principal-in-charge and refunding of their cut salaries.
When contacted, principal in-chrage Subhas Das denied all the allegations levelled against him.
Das said the salaries of the teachers are given according to the work period.
While making counter-allegations, the principal-in-charge said he is being mentally harassed by the students and teachers.
