An official of the revenue department of the Assam government has been caught arrested by the sleuths of directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption. 

The government official has been arrested after being caught red-handed while accepting bribe. 

The arrested official has been identified as Debananda Bora. 

Bora had been working at the Hojai Revenue Circle office in Assam. 

Meanwhile, a case has also been registered for further investigation. 

The development was confirmed by Assam special DGP GP Singh.

“One Lat Mondal Debananda Bora, arrested red handed by @DIR_VAC_ASSAM (directorate of vigilance and anti-corruption, Assam) while accepting bribe money at Hojai Revenue Circle office. A case is being registered for further investigation,” GP Singh tweeted.
