With the increase in COVID-19 cases in Kamrup (metro), other districts have imposed travel restrictions on people moving outside the district.
District administration of ten districts has already issued notices, stating 14-day quarantine if any person moves into the districts from Kamrup (Metro).

The districts are- Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Nagaon, Kokrajhar, Biswanath, South Salmara, Morigaon, Sonitput, Nalbari, and Barpeta.
The move has been initiated to stop the spread of coronavirus in the districts if any person moves in there from Kmrup (Metro).
Moreover, restrictions in travel to and from Kamrup (Metro) has also been imposed by other districts.
