Top law enforcement agencies and officials of RBI and banks will take part in a workshop on cybercrime initiated by the Assam Police.
The workshop on cybercrime has been organised by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Assam Police.
The 2-day workshop on cybercrime will start on Friday and culminate on Saturday.
“To face the challenges of rising cases of Cyber Crime in the country, we need to be prepared and maintain a high level of coordination among all the law enforcement agencies of various states,” Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said.

The Assam DGP tweeted: “Keeping this in view, a two day workshop on 3rd & 4th September, is being organised by #AssamCID under the aegis of Min. Of Home Affairs, GOI, New Delhi for the Regional Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Guwahati.”
He added: “The workshop will be attended by all law enforcement agencies of NE India as well as other stakeholders like RBI, Banks, Academia, TSP, NCIs etc.”
