Northeast India Petroleum Dealers’ Association (NEIPDA) has called for closure of fuel pumps in Guwahati for 48 hours.

The 48-hour closure called by the NEIPDA will come into effect at 6am on Friday (October 22) and end at 6am of October 24.

NEIPDA said that it took this decision to press for its 10-point charter of demands relating to various issues concerning the petroleum dealership business.

The NEIPDA has stated that it is facing issues due to refusal of contractors to load tankers, illegal deduction from SAP accounts and faulty automations.
