Nagaland Assam: Female Home Guard suspended after hugging Zubeen Garg on stage

Guwahati: A female Home Guard in Dibrugarh, Assam, has been suspended from her duties following a viral video showing her embracing and kissing singer Zubeen Garg during a recent Bihu program in Chabua.

The incident was captured on video and widely circulated on social media.

After the video went viral, Dibrugarh police prompted “strict actions” against her.

The Home Guard identified as Milliprabha Chutia who was stationed at the Chabua police station, was removed from her post after the video went viral.

Her act was termed unprofessional conduct as she was in uniform and reportedly on duty.

The footage reportedly shows the Home Guard hugging, kissing, and even touching the feet of the popular singer while he was performing on stage.
