Abhijit Chaliha, a budding journalist-cum-writer from the state has made it to the Assam Book of Records (ABR) for creating the smallest poetry book with nine poems.
The book titled Preetiloi Emuthi Kabita is a poetry book in Assamese with dimensions of 5 cm height and 3.5 cm breadth.
A resident of Amaguri in Lakhimpur district, the 32-year-old journalist has completed his master degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Dibrugarh University.
He is presently designated g as the bureau chief in a news and current affairs agency based in New Delhi.
The Assam Book of Records announced Chaliha’s achievement on its website and appreciated his creativity and honoured him with the state record certificate.
Earlier, Chaliha had also made several uncommon creative works.
Exclusively speaking to Northeast Now, Chaliha said, “I feel very happy that people of Assam have recognized my creative poetry book.”
“Such recognition and appreciation of people are highly motivating and encouraging to move forward,” he added.
