Campaigning reached a crescendo for the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) elections in Dima Hasao of Assam even as it comes to a close at 5 pm on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Piyush Hazarika addressed election rallies in the hill district garnering last minute support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) along with host of party workers.
