Names of his two daughters and son are also missing from the list while his wife passed the citizenship test.
Sanaullah, earlier this year, was declared a foreigner by a Foreigners’ Tribunal (FT) and was sent to a detention camp.
He had appealed against the FT’s order and the case is still pending at the High Court.
Owing to this neither he nor his children had any chance of getting included in the final list.
According to the NRC provisions, persons declared foreigners by the tribunals’ names of such persons along with their children’s names cannot be included in the final list.
