Three students from DHSK College, Dibrugarh namely Manab Mitra from BA second semester, Arup Sonawal of BA sixth semester of Assamese department and Ronit Dey of B Sc sixth semester of Zoology department has brought pride to the institution.
Manab Mitra was awarded the silver medal in All India Inter University Ushu (M&W) Championship held at Punjab University, Chandigarh on March 12-16 last.
Arup Sonowal took part in a short film competition conducted by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. He produced a three-minute short film with tiltled ‘Be the change which you want to see in the world’ and acquired 10th position from all over India in the competition held from October 2 to 31 December last year.
He received a token of Rs 10,000 along with a certificate as prize. Moreover, he also got an opportunity to attend a two weeks training programme under National Film Development Corporation for film production.
Ronit Dey took part in an online training module and examination conducted by Google Digital Garage on ‘The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing’ held on March 15 last.
After the successful completion of the course, he excelled in the final examination with flying colours and was awarded with a certificate of achievement by Google.
