The Arunachal Pradesh government plans to convert the MLA apartment complex at Chimpu in Papum Pare district into a specialized hospital.
Currently the MLA apartment complex is serving as a Dedicated Covid Hospital with over 120 beds.
Chief minister Pema Khandu during his visit to the apartment complex said that the state government will develop the site into a specialized hospital equipped with the latest medical infrastructure and technology.

The chief minister also interacted with medical personnel and health workers and took stock of the various issues they are facing while treating Covid-19 patients.
He said that these medical personnel have been risking their own lives to treat Covid-19 patients.
“Many health workers have sacrificed their time with their families to take care of ailing patients. Let’s not make their sacrifices go in vain,” Khandu said.
Healthcare, a priority above all else.
