A total of 298 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 34,214.
The disease also claimed two lives and with this the death toll increased to162.

The state at present has 2,565 active cases.
Of the fresh cases detected, 117 are symptomatic and 181 are asymptomatic.

The state government has decided to convert the MLA apartments in Chimpu in Papum Pare district into a specialized hospital.
Currently it is operating as a 120-bedded Covid Hospital.
