Nepal’s mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa recently became the first person to climb the highest mountain of the world Mt Everest for 23rd times.

Sherpa set the record by climbing the difficult and majestic mountain from the Nepal side.

The two routes to climb Mount Everest are situated in Nepal and Tibet.

Media reports said, Sherpa along with eight Nepali climbers reached the summit of Mount Everest opening the route for a record number of potential mountain climbers to carry out mountain expeditions in the coming weeks.

They also prepared facilities required for the mountain climbers who are expected to climb Mount Everest.

The Sherpas who serve as guides for the potential mountain climbers of Mount Everest first go up to the mountain themselves and prepare everything for the mountaineers who are expected to scale the mountain later.

Nepal has issued 378 permits to mountaineers for this year’s spring climbing season. Each of the permits cost 11,000 dollars.

With a Nepali guide escorting each of the mountaineers, the total number of people to climb Mount Everest in the coming weeks through the Nepal route will be about 756.

An estimated number of 140 people is also expected to climb the Mount Everest from the Tibet route in the coming weeks.

Every aspiring mountaineer, between April and May, flocks to grab the opportunity of climbing the highest mountain in the world.
